Georgian Dinner

• Georgian Dinners at Levis promise to be great fun, A selection of Georgian dishes, snacks and shared plates and a welcome drink are included in the ticket price. As much as the food, wine is as integral a part of the Georgian meal. Georgia is the oldest wine-producing region in the world, which dates back 8000 years. Traditional Georgian Wine is fermented and aged in Qvevri (large clay amphorae buried underground), which gives them a very unique, individual flavour – they are the perfect wines to pair with the myriad of flavours served at a Georgian Supra. To help explain these fascinating wines, we are delighted to welcome John Wurdeman of Pheasant’s Tears Winery to guide us through the wines and lead the toasts. John is an eloquent speaker who has the ability to transport one to Georgia through words. Every Georgian important meal has a Tamada (Toastmaster) so John will be our Tamada for the evening.
