Secret Song is an annual One Day Live Music & Spoken Word Festival that takes place in Levis Corner House, Ballydehob West Cork, Ireland.

Secret Song takes on the first Sunday of every October…. Up to 20 Acts performing throughout the ground and all floors of Levis Corner House.. Every Room we can find inside and outside.

Secret Song takes place once a year and it is a celebration of all artists and all the gigs that take place in Levis throughout the year..

Secret Song Festival is exactly as it is titled – a Secret. On the day, everyone moves from room to room, to the back garden, from the Parlour, to the ‘Outback’ without knowing who is playing.. We’ve even had ‘a gig’ in a cupboard.. The performers themselves do not know who else is playing until the day. They are given (at best) a time and a place to be. Every year audiences take a leap of faith and purchase tickets for the day, without knowing the names of the performers. Every year it sells out.

We welcome established, ‘big’ names..and artists who are ‘unknown’ or unsigned. All amazing talented original performers. All on equal footing on the day. ( who knows who’ll end up in that cupboard 🙂 . .

‘Junior’ Secret Song takes place the next day..All the Ballydehob Primary School Children ( 5th & 6th class)  attend a shorter version of Secret Song with ‘musicians and spoken word artists from the previous day….a live performance just for schools. The children interact with the musicians throughout the building. Supported by Creative Ireland, Cork County Council &  Arts Council Ireland – That is truly a magic day..and at the heart of everything.
