Caitlin Ruth is back in Levis Corner House, Ballydehob!
The award winning chef and sustainable Irish food champion blew us all away last Summer with her 12 Days of Mexico residency in our Outback and we’ve been dreaming of her food ever since.
We do what we love here. And we love Caitlin’s food.
Whilst valiant attempts will be made to convince her to move into our cellar and feed us all like Chiefs every day, this will be a time limited residency ( + small sittings).
Here is how this will roll :
MEXICO MENU WEEK 1
7th ( Wed), 8th ( Thurs), 9th ( Fri) JULY – MEXICO Menu (€25) – 4 sittings.
Caitlin will expand on last Summer’s 12 days of Mexico residency to create a menu especially for the week. As described by John & Sally McKennas’ Guides “Caitlin Ruth’s Mexican cooking is as intricate and soulful as a mariachi band’s best tune”.
WEST CORK MENU WEEK 2
14th ( Wed), 15th ( Thurs), 16th (Fri) JULY – WEST CORK Menu (€30) – 4 sittings
In Week Two, Caitlin goes back to drawing board and conjures up a whole new menu using the best of WEST CORK local ingredients, paying homage to the brilliant producers we have right here in Ballydehob and surrounds. Right now she’s in a field somewhere near, wrestling livestock & nibbling her way through the ditches.
On both weeks you will not be burdened by multiple choices…
…The simple set meal will gloriously unfold and arrive at your table. Using top class, hyper local ingredients , sustainably grown and the magic that is Caitlin Ruth. And lots of surprises.
We will take advance requests also for dietary requirements where they can be supported.
