Join The Duncairn  at Levis’ Corner House as we open this year’s Shared Island Takeover with a relaxed welcome
session for everyone.

This is a free event and a chance to meet the artists, partners and people involved in The Ties That Bind.

Local singers, poets, storytellers and musicians are more than welcome to take part.

We love the opportunity for voices from the local community to meet the visiting performers from Belfast.

Creative Irelands ‘Shared Island’  cultural exchange project, “The Ties That Bind”, returns to West Cork this summer with a cross-community collaboration between Levis’ Corner House (Ballydehob, West Cork) and The Duncairn (North Belfast). The Duncairn will take over Ballydehob from the 9th to the 12th July 2026.  This new chapter of the Shared Island project has been to include South Derry ( Sperrins) and Wexford Town.
