The Kates – West Cork’s  newest and fiercest 5 piece girl band.

The band (comprised of Liz Clark, Mide Houlihan, Eve Clague, MaryBeth O Mahony and Paula K O Brien) make it their mission to celebrate the rock goddesses that have come before them, torching an unapologetic trail through a man’s world.

Born in the famous DeBarra’s Folk Club, Clonakilty, The Kates are going from strength to strength, playing sell out shows and curating a strong set that manifests their message.

Incredible vocal harmony, from five accomplished singer songwriters in their own right, forms the heartbeat of the band.
Add in electric guitars, bass, keys & amp; drums and theirs a gig you don’t want miss.

The Kates are recording their debut EP this April.
