We welcome back Matt Lorenz of the Suitcase Junket who returns to Levis’s for an over-the-counter night of songs on Saturday April 25. Lorenz has been touring as the Suitcase Junket, a wild one man pile of salvaged sounds, for the past 13 years. He has released 6 full length records and 2 EPs, toured the world playing festivals, rock clubs, theaters, and listening rooms. His sound draws from the deep well of the Americana genre including folk, blues, rock, and country and his last two albums were produced by Steve Berlin of Los Lobos. He has a new album coming out in September of 2026 that centers around the unexpected death of his sister Kate who was a gifted singer and writer and frequent collaborator on his albums and live performances. The Suitcase Junket rarely tours without the full rig of drums and amps so this will make for a truly special evening of song.
