Artist Bio

Samuel Arnold Keane is a forager, an illustrator, a musician… merging various art forms to tell the stories of the seaweeds, coasts and streets, he gathers, wades and walks. At the essence of his creative practice are songwriting and performance. Strumming since the age of 11, Samyel accompanies his voice with guitar, as well as playing all sorts of percussive instruments. Having grown up in France the ‘singer-song-scribbler’ sings in both English and French with sprinkles of Gaeilge. He has performed and collaborated within Ireland’s emerging Modern Folk scene, as well as collaborating with physical performers and other multidisciplinary artists.
