Ballydehob – Halloween Procession

Posted on: 18 October, 2021

Levis Corner House is delighted to be working on the Ballydehob Jazz festival again !
We have just announced that a Jazz Procession will take place on Sat 30th October (Halloween Weekend) at 6.30pm on the streets of Ballydehob
The Ballydehob Jazz Committee has teamed together with many arts practitioners, local and national from Ballydehob Puppet company, Working Artists Studios, Loosysmokes and many more to create a procession of darkness and colour; to cleanse the streets and fill them with light and positivity and some ancient Ballydehob characters.
We’ll take a moment to remember the lives lost, especially those who did not get a proper send-off over recent months. What we need now is expression and freedom. And we’re going to come out in force and colour, celebrating the lives of all.
Mask Making Work Shops took place Friday (15th October) in the local Ballydehob Primary Schools led by Peter Casby (Macnas)
Followed by Mask, Prop and Torch Making workshop on Saturday 16th Out Back of Levis Corner House, Ballydehob.
It is going to be amazing.
We do however need help! Lots of Stewards on the day will be needed!
Theres still more decorations & bits and bobs to be finished off.
